Hello there, I'm Sharnissa A. Washington. I'm a proud professional and business woman who happens to love God, people and tacos. I live in two places, the United States and the Middle East which are distinctly different. I've gotten use to 20 hours flights and airplane food, thank goodness for comfy seats. (Go figure)

 

I love a good movie and I like to read autobiographies which encouraged me to write my first book Dear Single Sisters - Lies, Life & Love. Talk about a humorous and transparent read, which actually began as a simple blog. Since then, I've written and published a series of devotional books and children's books. I wanted to share content that encourage, empower and embrace people everywhere.

You may know me best for preaching! Yes, I'm a female preacher that delivers real life applications and sometimes my own business. I feel if I can overcome, you can too! Along with preaching, I host the I Love Being A Girl Podcast, I Love Being A Girl Mentor Program & Sharnissa Washington T.V. which is my YouTube channel.

I am the CEO of the I Love Being A Girl Company, where my goal is to employee 20 women and girls. The company consist of teaching, media, and events. You should hang out with us soon, whether virtually or in person.

I hold a BA & MA in Education, with experience as an educator, curriculum coordinator, STEM coordinator and admin leadership!! I enjoy beaches, good food and hanging with family and friends. Continue to follow my journey, there's more to share!
