Closed Down Shop, Opened Up Possibilities

A few months ago I closed down my online store Kingdom Citizen Boutique. While one thing closed another opened...my heart. Ahhhh! I know you may be thinking...your heart. Okay, let me start here.

Here I was several years a boutique owner and now about to call it quits. I kind of beat myself up because I failed to push my boutique like other owners nor did I give it ten years. My only hope and desire was to dress up church girls. Cute dresses, sassy jackets and sleek skirts was my goal. Dress them up, send them on their way and encourage them to take really cute pics.

But in the spring of 2017 my heart began to change and so did my desire to dress up church girls. So yea, you probably think I'm about to sound super deep but during this season God asked me, "Are you only after the profit and gain from your boutique? Who's life are you helping change or turn to me." My response shocked me but it didn't shock God. I saw my heart.....

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Proverbs 4:23

So that in the latter part of the year I closed my online boutique and opened my heart to new possibilties. I opened my heart to what God was saying concerning my true intentions. I opened my heart to the instructions of God. One door closed but another opened.
