Somewhere between my self-esteem and self-confidence being dragged to the floor I found myself evolving. I found out that I looooove me some Jesus and I love Sharnissa. I embraced every flaw and weakness learned myself through the grace of God. For years I would hashtag, I LOVE BEING A GIRL because I truly did. I loved how God made us so uniquely different....we are nourishing, poised, graceful and pretty cool! But we can also be extremely hard on ourselves. We often compare ourselves to other women and feel less accomplished, less beautiful or less intelligent. So I went hard in the paint. Literally!
I wanted to remind women you are BEAUTIFUL, YOU ARE INTELLIGENT, YOU ARE ACCOMPLISHED. You may not do what the next woman is doing, but girl you are enough. You may be a rockin' mom, blogger, 9-5 worker, supervisor, cook, doctor, therapist....whatever. Love Being A Girl! Love being who you are called to be and love what you're called to do.
So I went hard in the paint! Clothing, bags, fanny packs and now home decor. If being a girl is so hard, why not enjoy doing it. WE can be godly and pretty cool. I love being a girl of God. He makes me shine!! I'm the light!
And I want to encourage my sister to do the same!
