Online church services is not new for many of us. Way before the quarantine, living abroad had pushed me to worship with other believers via the internet. It's nothing like being in the building but then again is it? This quarantine has caused many of us to take up online worship, online giving and online fellowship. Different for many? Yes. Effective? I believe so, the quarantine churches are showing up and I'm here for it!!
I thank God for the opportunity to worship online, it is a ministry opportunity that allows ministries to now reach thousands if not millions of viewers. We can literally show up in church with rollers in our hair and cozy pajamas while eating breakfast. I totally thank God for the video production staff, musicians, and pastors showing up to give us Godly content each and EVERY SUNDAY during this quarantine. Pastor are studying and preaching the Word like it's a house full!!! And we hear, we see, we receive! I love it!
Years before Mike & Natalie Todd became huge social media influencers, I was a follower of their ministry Transformation Church. Transformation Church is multi-cultural ministry in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Every Sunday I log onto You Tube to hear vibrant praises led by praise team and a solid word preached by Pastor Mike Todd. No gimmicks. No tricks. No fancy tactics. Simply word. I'm a mixture of old-fashioned church and a progressive church, so I enjoy the service from start to finish. Now of course at times I had to catch the replay, but for the most part tuning into Transformation Church is great.
I find it important to stay connected to a church family and God during this quarantine. Though we can't get to the physical church, this doesn't stop us from getting to God.
